ingredients:
    CHUNA (chickpea tuna)
    1 tin of Chickpeas (drained)
    1 sheet Nori (blended)
    1/2 cup vegan mayo
    1 tsp salt (add more to taste)
    1-2 tbsp lime juice
    SALAD :
    Sliced tomato
    Sliced red onion
    Washed spinach or leaves of choice
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp lime
    GARNISH :
    pickled cucumber(bought or home made)
    Mixed seeds
    Pickled onion (bought or homemade)
    Sliced spring onion
    MAHI Scorpion Pepper & Passion Hot sauce

Method:
  1. First Drain and rinsed the chickpeas before adding them into a bowl. Next make sure you have blended the nori (sushi seaweed sheets) till it is very fine and looks a bit like green glitter, sometimes the nori struggles to blend in small quantities, if this happens take a few sheets, rip them up and blend a larger amount. The extra blended nori can be stored in a jar until you next need it. Add the remaining chuna ingredients into a bowl, using a fork or potato masher, crush the chickpeas until all the ingredients are combined. Adjust salt and lime to your tastes.
  2. Toss all the salad ingredients in a bowl with the salt and lime, you can adjust the salad depending what you have available.
  3. Garnish how you like, we used salad toppers supplied by GOOD4U, pickled cucumbers, pickled red onion, sliced spring onion and Scorpion pepper and passion MAHI sauce.
